What Is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup is the art and science of implanting color into your skin. It is putting the right color in the right place so you can look better naturally. Specialized instruments allow your Permanent Cosmetic professional to place color into the layer of skin known as the dermis. Because the outermost layer of skin, the epidermis, is always shedding and renewing itself, you are looking at the color through a thin veil of skin. When a procedure is completed, the color will appear darker than the final result. This is because the color is in BOTH the epidermis and the dermis. The color in the top layer will flake off during the healing process lightening the overall effect. It is a cosmetic invasive procedure that requires skill and experience and cooperation with your permanent makeup professional. You are part of the team.

Permanent Cosmetics can indeed enhance the quality of someone's life. It can not only make you look better, but also feel better.

• someone who wants to intensify their own eyebrows

Permanent Eyeliners for...

Lipliner and Full Lip Coloring For...

• lips which are scarred or have hyperpigmented areas
• someone who has very thin, small, or uneven lips and would like to enhance or change the shape into a more becoming look.
The term Permanent Cosmetics are actually extended wear cosmetics and fade in varying degrees with different individuals. Some clients will need a maintenance application sooner than others.
Due to varying degrees of difficulty of applications associated with lip/skin texture, scarring or wrinkles around lip lines from cold sore, age, laser treatments, medications, smoking, sun exposure, and glycolic acid creams, we can't guarantee "perfect" results in two visits. Therefore, if irregularities in lip color develop from the above mentioned conditions, additional procedures may be necessary.

Scar Camouflage
Carefully blended colors, created to match you skin tones, can be applied
to scarred areas. Good results have been achieved for burn victims as well. Hair loss due to face lift scars can be camouflaged with delicate hair-like strokes in hairline areas. This is also helpful for alopecia victims and tattoo removal.

Areola Reconstruction
Permanent color is a very effective technique to re-create the natural appearance of the areola after breast reconstructive surgery. Plastic surgeons request our very professional experience and sensitivity in dealing with a woman's needs.

Sanitation
With each procedure, fresh pigments are used which contain safe inorganic ingredients. The colors do not contain any FD&C or D&C dyes for your protection. In addition, only disposable probes, brushes, and spatulas are used. Each set of needle configurations is sterile and used only once for each individual. All non-disposable equipment is thoroughly sterilized via OSHA sterilization procedures.
